Atlanta Beltline Inc. has officially kicked off the next phase of construction to connect neighborhoods near Atlantic Station into Buckhead! For residents and commuters, this connection strengthens access to key neighborhoods, parks, and employment centers and continues expanding options beyond the car.
Northwest Trail – Segment 3
Connecting Berkeley Park in the south to Loring Heights, Brookwood, Ardmore, and Collier Hills neighborhoods.

The one-mile segment, 3B, will start where the trail currently ends at Northside Drive and extend over the roadway—via a pedestrian bridge. Once over Northside Drive, the trail will continue through the Atlanta Technology Center campus and then beneath Interstate 75 at Tanyard Creek.

Construction is expected to begin later this summer (after FIFA World Cup activity wraps up in Atlanta) and will take two and a half years, with an estimated opening in 2029. The full 22-mile Beltline loop is projected for completion in 2030. To date, 13.6 miles of the main trail and more than 10 miles of connector trails are already open.
