Get Ready to Ride the all-new Buc!
The all-new Buc powered by Via hits Buckhead streets on April 19th, and we’ve got all the information you need to get ready to ride.
What is it? The Buc is Buckhead’s new on-demand, shared transportation service. Think of it as a minibus that comes when you want, where you want. Give us your pickup and dropoff addresses and we’ll provide a few ride options.
How much do rides cost? Rides are free to and from the Buckhead and Lenox MARTA stations, and $3 anywhere within the Buckhead service zone.
Are wheelchair accessible vehicles available?Yes! You can let us know you need a wheelchair accessible vehicle in the app or over the phone.
How To Get Started
Step 1: Download the Via appIt’s free in both the App Store and Google Play.Step 2: Create Your Rider ProfileOpen the Via app and it will ask for basic contact information to set up your rider profile. You have the option to add a credit card, but that is not required. Remember that any trip that begins or ends at the Buckhead and Lenox MARTA stations is free. Trips to other Buckhead locations are $3 one way and will require a credit card for payment.Step 3: Learn How to Ride the Buc Powered by ViaWhen the Buc powered by Via begins to operate on April 19th, we want you to know how to catch a ride.
