Variation Requested: Outdoor Dining Cover
During the review of this project, it became apparent that the existing permit for the
outdoor dining portion of the site had not been appropriately reviewed/permitted by
the City as it had not been through the Special Administrative permit process.
Therefore, the committee recommends the applicant stop work immediately on the
outdoor dining and revise the current SAP application to reflect a design that does not
encroach into the clear zone of the walkway.
The Development Committee does expect the applicant to provide revised plans for review
prior to the issuance of a final SAP by the City of Atlanta staff.
