The committee recommends the inclusion of wayfinding as a part of the proposed hardscape update that would assist in directing individuals to the existing bicycle and other pedestrian infrastructure nearby.
SPI-12 Development Review Committee

Development Review Committee – Special Public Interest District 9 

The committee supports the incorporation of native trees and shrubs that are commonly used to manage stormwater runoff. The committee recommends the applicant reviews City of Atlanta’s Tree Ordinance and Tree Planting List to ensure compliance and sustainable landscaping is accomplished. The committee recommends future coordination with the Buckhead Community Improvement District during the extent of the CID’s streetscape project along Peachtree Road. The applicant indicated that the project’s scope would be contained within the property line and no changes will be made to the existing right-of-way.

The Development Review Committee does not expect to see this applicant again unless significant changes are made to the proposed plans that necessitate additional variations or the City staff requests additional input from the DRC.
