Livable Buckhead stands in solidarity with peaceful protesters in Atlanta, across the country and around the globe who are pushing for an end to racial injustice.

When we created Livable Buckhead in 2011, we chose a name that spelled out our mission of making this community a better version of itself. We believed that for too long there had been only one story about life in Buckhead, and that it wasn’t the full picture of everything this community is and could be.

In 2020, it’s clear that we still have a long way to go. We don’t know the exact path forward, but we know that it requires listening to black and brown voices, as well as those of others who have been marginalized. We have started that work and we are committed to continuing it. All of us can do better, and all of us must do better – together.
