Class-A office tower within 45-acre Buckhead campus is recognized for excellence in management and operations

The Ardent Companies (“Ardent”) and Cushman & Wakefield today announce that Tower 15 at Piedmont Center, the two million-square-foot office campus along Piedmont Road, has been recognized by the Building Owners and Managers Association of Georgia (BOMA Georgia) for its achievements in management and operations excellence.

Tower 15 is the recipient of The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY®) Award, one of the most prestigious and comprehensive programs of its kind in the commercial real estate industry, which recognizes quality in commercial buildings and rewards excellence in building management. Recognized in the category for buildings between 250,000 and 499,999 square feet, all facets of Tower 15 were thoughtfully evaluated, including community involvement, tenant relations and site management to environmental and “green” policies and procedures. The building is managed by Danyl Adams and Gina Dodson with Cushman & Wakefield.

“We’re honored for Tower 15 to be recognized by BOMA Georgia for its outstanding operational performance,” says Dodson. “We’re proud to work alongside Ardent to create a successful and inspiring office environment for our tenants and look forward to continuing to enhance the overall experience for the Piedmont Center community.”

Tower 15 will now advance to the regional level where it will compete against other leading office buildings in the Southeast. This awarded excellence is reflected in the commitment by ownership and management to bring high-quality improvements to the tower.

Ardent has invested $7 million in enhancing the building, which includes a renovated lobby and conference center, activated interior and exterior spaces, enhanced parking deck lighting, and new food services. Additionally, Ardent constructed a new bridge connection to Old Ivy Road, improving walkability to nearby amenities such as housing, retail and restaurants. The upgrades come as part of Ardent’s ongoing transformation of Piedmont Center into a highly connected, mixed-use destination.

Ardent began its investment into Piedmont Center in 2016, completing its acquisition of all 14 buildings in June 2021. Notable enhancements include state-of-the-art renovations to conference rooms, lobbies and fitness centers, as well as exterior upgrades. The campus is surrounded by a 1.2-mile nature trail, and bridge connections and links to adjacent properties are planned to enhance walkability to nearby housing, retail and restaurants, and features 30,000 square feet of WiFi-enabled outdoor space.

BOMA Georgia’s mission is to lead the commercial real estate community to enhance the professionalism and value of its members through education, advocacy, community involvement, membership participation and the open exchange of ideas. The association is the largest local affiliate of BOMA International, which was founded in 1907.

Office leasing for Piedmont Center is being handled by JLL and Cushman & Wakefield. For updates and additional information about Piedmont Center, visit its website and follow @piedmontcenterATL on Instagram and Facebook.
