ELEVATE: REOPEN, REIGNITE & RECONNECT – Buckhead September 17-19th
Hosted annually by the Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs around Atlanta, ELEVATE is a temporary public art program that seeks to invigorate the Atlanta area through visual art, performances, and cultural events.
The focus of ELEVATE is to enhance the city’s cultural offerings by providing free, quality cultural experiences that highlight what makes Atlanta unique and increasing Atlanta’s cultural and economic vitality.
Elevate will take place on weekends from September 10 through October 31, with Buckhead’s week including our very own PARK(ing) Day (which is now Oct 1st!), as well as a gallery walk along Atlanta’s largest collection of art galleries, Miami Circle.
The Miami Circle Gallery walk includes;
Alan Avery Art Company, Anne Irwin Fine Art, Bill Lowe Gallery, Marsha Wood Gallery, Mason Fine Art, Maune Contemporary, Reinike Gallery, September Gray Art Gallery, The Nicholson Gallery, Signature Contemporary Craft Gallery, Thomas Dean’s Fine Art.
The ELEVATE programming is in partnership with art galleries, museums, theaters, performance venues, restaurants and bars, the public art festival will help ignite interest in arts and cultural events in communities across Atlanta, from Buckhead to Downtown and Old Fourth Ward to West End.
