Recommendations Regarding Variations: 

Section 16-18I.023 offstreet Parking Requirements (Table) The committee reviewed the parking requirements for the development with the proposed expansion and calculates the parking requirement to be 13.5 spaces.  The development currently has 17 spaces so there is no variation needed.

Section 16-18I.023.4:  Parking Screening – Off street parking lots are required to be screened between the parking and the sidewalk with a 30” – 42” decorative fence or wall, berm or vegetative screen.

Recommendation:  The committee recommends the applicant make the modifications necessary to comply with this requirement.

None

The Development Committee does not expect to see this applicant again unless significant changes are made to the proposed plans that necessitate additional variations or the City staff requests additional input from the DRC.
