Ready. Set. Walk. buckheadWALKS! is Livable Buckhead’s free, month long walking challenge that turns Buckhead into an active, energizing playground. Rally coworkers, grab friends and family, or team up with neighbors and transform everyday steps into real momentum for healthier habits and stronger community connections.
Track your steps, stack points, and jump into high energy weekly activities and pop up experiences across Buckhead. Think scavenger hunts, guided walks, themed challenges, and friendly competition that keep motivation high and routines anything but boring. Every step unlocks something new to discover.

Participation is completely free and designed to boost physical and mental well being, with prizes, bragging rights, and district wide recognition along the way.
Now in its 9th year, buckheadWALKS! returns with more energy than ever, powered by the Wellable platform to deliver a seamless, addictive experience that keeps you moving all month long. Lace up, step out, and help Buckhead take its next big stride.

Get ready to have a blast and boost your points! Every year, we roll out a lineup of engaging, educational, and downright fun activities, offering even more chances to earn those valuable points. These weekly events serve as fantastic opportunities to rally your teammates and dive deeper into the challenge. More info on our weekly activities is coming soon, so stay tuned!
Every Day: Earn points every day by automatically tracking each step in the Wellable app
Monday-Friday: Scavenger hunts, run club meet-ups and more!
Bonus Activities: Bonus activities are another way to earn even more points. More details on bonus activities will provided on your Wellable bulletin board as well as in the weekly challenge emails.

Garden 684 Bridge Tour with the Executive Director of Livable Buckhead, Thursday 4/9, 12:00–1:00 PM: Enjoy a guided walk along the newest section of PATH400 and experience the 80-foot bridge. Meet at Garden 684, PATH400 entrance.

Birds Georgia Guided Walk (Peachtree Park Neighborhood), Thursday 4/15, 12:00–1:00 PM: Join Birds Georgia for a guided walk to learn about native species along the PATH. Bring binoculars if you have them. Meet at the Peachtree Park neighborhood PATH400 entrance.

Buckhead Plaza Earth Day Market, Thursday 4/23, 11:30 AM–2:00 PM: Attend the Earth Day Market and check in at Livable Buckhead’s orange tent to earn your points. A code for a free round trip on the Buc Shuttle will be provided. Meet at Buckhead Plaza.

Get There By Bike with Propel ATL, Thursday 4/30, 12:00–1:00 PM: Learn about safe riding in the city and available cycling resources from Propel ATL. Meet at 3350 Greenspace.

If you or your team has never participated in the buckheadWALKS! challenge before, contact Livable Buckhead to have your team added!
A minimum of 4 people are required per team. If there are less than 4 people on your team, you will be moved to the Buckhead Community team and participate as an individual.
Create a Neighborhood Team
Residents throughout Buckhead are also eligible to participate. Here’s why your neighborhood should join:
- Bragging rights: Represent your neighborhood and prove why it’s the best in Buckhead! Gather your team and showcase your community pride.
- Networking: Connect with neighbors you might not have met otherwise. Strengthen bonds and build a sense of community spirit as you walk together.
- Health and wellness: Rally family, friends, and neighbors to step outside and embrace the benefits of walking. It’s a simple way to prioritize physical activity and well-being for everyone involved.
Need Your Team Added?
If you or your team has never participated in the buckheadWALKS! challenge before, contact Livable Buckhead to have your team added!

Please note: The Buckhead Community team is offered for people to compete individually, not on a company or neighborhood team. The Buckhead Community team is not eligible for the team grand prize, however, you will be eligible for the individual grand prizes.
Buckhead Run + Walk Club
Join us every Tuesday for the Buckhead Run+Walk Club with giveaways from your friends at Livable Buckhead!
This group meets in front of the Food Hall at Phipps Plaza, and takes off at 6pm along PATH400.
Parking: Parking is free or take the Buc shuttle for a car-free experience. Parking is available next to Food Hall at Phipps Plaza at Phipps Tower or on parking garage levels P3-P1. Visitors can enter through The Green or through the Phipps Plaza mall entrance. Park in the garage at the intersection of Phipps Blvd. and Alexander Rd. NE
