That’s why buckheadWALKS!, Livable Buckhead’s month-long walking challenge, is more than just a fitness tracker—it’s a chance to explore, engage, and improve well-being, all while earning points and prizes.

Walking isn’t just about getting from point A to point B—it’s a proven way to reduce stress, boost creativity, and improve mental health. Taking even a short daily walk outdoors helps clear the mind and strengthen a sense of place in the community. Whether it’s an after-dinner stroll with a dog, a morning power walk to jumpstart the day, or a mid-afternoon movement break, every step adds up to something bigger.

This year, buckheadWALKS! brings even more ways to stay active and engaged. Participants can track their daily steps automatically through the Wellable app and join a lineup of special events designed to keep things fun. Weekly activities like scavenger hunts and run club meet-ups encourage friendly competition and camaraderie, while bonus activities offer extra chances to rack up points.
