Description: Simon Properties is constructing a new two-story tenant space on the north side of Lenox Square, directly adjacent to the main mall entrance. The new space will include façade improvements, hardscape and landscape improvements to the sidewalk, and window and interior/exterior wall improvements to the existing second floor space that extends over the neighboring tenant space.

Recommendations:
The committee made the following observations/recommendations:
- The committee commends the project sponsor for the incorporation of green landscaping features and elements in the project.
- The committee notes that sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives are a community priority and recommends the tenant explore inclusion of measures to minimize energy and water use.
- The committee notes that traffic is a concern for the community and recommends that the new tenant coordinate with Livable Buckhead to provide alternative commuting options for future employees including reduced fare monthly MARTA passes.
The Development Committee does not expect to see this applicant again unless significant changes are made to the proposed plans that necessitate additional variations or the City staff requests additional input from the DRC.
