Buckhead Construction Progress

The Buckhead Community Improvement District (BCID) continues to make significant progress on several infrastructure improvement projects throughout the community. The projects aim to make significant improvements to create a more walkable and livable community in Buckhead while reducing traffic congestion.

Project Updates:

Wieuca-Phipps Roundabout: The BCID will begin advertising for construction on the project in July 2023 with work anticipated to start in September 2023.

Lenox Road Complete Street Section 1: The BCID will begin advertising for construction on the project in August 2023 with work anticipated to start in October 2023.

Piedmont Road Widening: The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) will open construction bids on the project in September 2023 with work anticipated to start in October 2023.
