Partner Spotlight: Big Peach Ride + Run
Big Peach Ride + Run has been in operation since 2004 when they opened their first location in Brookhaven. They saw a need for a pedestrian active lifestyle in the Atlanta area that is hugely underserved. Their mission is to promote an active lifestyle by providing excellent customer service and the right shoes for runners and walkers. Big Peach Ride + Run operates on the following principles:
- Support active lifestyles – aim to help build people healthy lifestyles.
- Build community – host events to bring people together for group runs and bike rides.
- Provide great customer service – to provide a welcoming environment.
Big Peach Ride + Run began working with Livable Buckhead in 2023 to grow the cycling community in Buckhead. Our partnership grew to supporting their employees with commute solutions, connecting them to Georgia Commute Options and partnering on our now annual social bike ride along PATH400. This collaboration was driven by a shared vision of fostering an inclusive and engaging environment for cyclists of all experience levels while increasing awareness of alternative transportation options in Buckhead.
Through this partnership, we were able to:
✅ Expand our outreach to a diverse and engaged cycling community ✅ Promote the benefits of using PATH400 for both commuting and recreational ✅ Strengthen employer engagement by introducing alternative commute solutions ✅ Foster greater awareness of Livable Buckhead’s sustainability and mobility programs
Beyond the event, this collaboration has paved the way for continued engagement with the cycling community, reinforcing our mission to create a more connected and bike-friendly Buckhead. By working together, we are not only enhancing mobility options but also building a stronger, more sustainable future for all who live, work, and play in Buckhead.
