For our first ever Better Habits, Better You Challenge, Livable Buckhead has teamed up with professional Chef Laureen Herzig. For this four week challenge, we want to bring easy simple ways to create better habits while working from home. For us, making time for a healthy and quick meal between calls and deadlines can be nearly impossible. That is precisely why we decided Wednesdays are now, “Whip it Up Wednesdays”!

Chef Herzig is no novice in the kitchen! She brings 35 years of culinary and food innovation experience to our virtual kitchen highlighted with positions as the Corporate Chef for Mrs. Smith’s Bakeries, Executive Chef for the NBA Sacramento Kings and Innovation & Development Chef for Rich Products, as well as her work in her own catering company, peach love food, LLC.

Each week we will be providing grocery lists, quick and easy to follow cooking classes on zoom and showcasing some simple ways to sustainable in the kitchen. Here’s a quick list of our planned lunch recipes:

Week One: Avocado Cream Shrimp with Lemon Pesto Capellini

Week Two: Goat Cheese Polenta with Garlicky Greens & Mushrooms

Week Three: Sticky Korean Beef Lettuce Wraps

Week Four: Sesame Noodles with Chicken & Scallions
