I am so grateful to Livable Buckhead for their amazing community work and the opportunity to partner on volunteer events. I joined Salesforce because of our commitment to sustainability, equality, and giving back. As the leader of Earthforce Atlanta, our environmental employee resource group, I’m able to help us live our values. We are dedicated to promoting and celebrating environmental responsibility so partnering with local community groups is very meaningful to us.

Each of our volunteer events with Livable Buckhead have been huge hits with our team because of Livable Buckhead’s impeccable planning and execution. Our latest event with over 60 Salesforce employees at Blue Heron Nature Preserve (BHNP) was especially meaningful because many of us didn’t even know about this amazing natural resource right in our own backyard. In a hectic work world, the power of bonding in nature is so valuable and restorative. I love to see the connections made when different teams dedicate their time to getting out of the office and helping out. Our volunteers loved it; the mix of activities provided an opportunity for everyone to help out and the complimentary happy hour at SweetWater afterwards was an unexpected and much appreciated bonus! In addition to picking up trash, refreshing trails, and working on picnic benches we appreciated learning more about Livable Buckhead and Blue Heron Nature Preserve.
