Dan Knopp has 35 years of hospitality leadership experience, including the last 13 years with Hyatt Hotels. He currently holds the position of Hyatt Select Service Area Manager, based at Hyatt Place Buckhead, where responsibilities include day-to-day operations of the hotel as well as the oversight of three other Hyatt Place properties in the greater Atlanta market. A Chicago native and graduate of Illinois State University, Dan and his wife, Vera, and their four children have been Atlanta area residents for more than 28 years.

In addition to being on the board of directors for Livable Buckhead, Dan is presently serving his second term as Chairman of the Buckhead Hotel Council. He is an avid runner which has allowed him involvement with Atlanta Community Food Bank, Make-a-Wish Foundation, American Cancer Society, Scleroderma Foundation, and Atlanta Track Club.
