3+ Carpools Ride Toll-Free!
A new program that offers free toll benefits for commuters who carpool with three or more people, using the Peach Pass on the I-85 and I-85 Extension Express Lanes!
To participate:
- Drivers must register for a Peach Pass account
- Verify that their vehicle has at least three occupants (including the driver)
- Confirm the carpool at the start and end of each trip through the Peach Pass Verify mobile app. This app, available for download on both the Apple and Google Play stores, streamlines the verification process with just a few taps, making it easy to claim free tolls while traveling in the designated express lanes.
Peach Pass Verify is designed to encourage carpooling and reduce traffic congestion by offering toll-free rides for qualifying vehicles. The app ensures that only those who meet the carpool requirements benefit, helping to keep lanes moving efficiently. Currently, the program is available on Georgia’s I-85 and I-85 Extension Express Lanes, and from December 2, 2024, it will replace the non-toll declaration feature in the Peach Pass GO! mobile app. If you already have a Peach Pass account, simply download the app and start enjoying the savings while helping to make your commute faster and greener. Keep in mind that toll accounts from other states, such as E-ZPass or SunPass, are not eligible for this benefit.
