Atlanta Bike Challenge
Biketober is here! Atlanta’s region-wide bike challenge will again run from October 1st – 31st. Ride with your workplace, create a social team, ride as an individual… or all three! Ride anywhere, any time, for any purpose. The more you ride and encourage others to join, the more points you earn.
This challenge is not only a great way to get comfortable on a bike but a fun way to come together with friends, neighbors and coworkers.

Gear up for an afternoon to celebrate Georgia Commute Options’ annual Biketober challenge with Livable Buckhead!
Join us on Sunday, October 27, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, for a frightfully fun time along PATH400 and Peachtree Neighborhood Park. Whether you’re a seasoned biker or just love Halloween, this event is perfect for all ghouls, ghosts, and goblins in the Buckhead community!
🚴 Event Highlights:
- Halloween-Themed Bike Parade: Decorate your bike with your spookiest Halloween flair and ride through the beautiful fall scenery of Buckhead.
- Costume Contests: Prizes for best-dressed adult, child under 14, and even pets! Plus, awards for the best-decorated bikes (adult and child categories).
- Trick or Treating: Our local business partners, including Capital One Café, Patagonia, Shake Shack, and Trader Joe’s Buckhead, will be handing out treats! Pet-friendly treats, too!
- Live DJ: Get in the spooky spirit with music and surprises throughout the day!
