2024 Big Peach Social Ride: PATH400

Exploring PATH400 On Two Wheels

On Sunday, March 24 at 2 p.m. nearly one hundred cyclists departed from Eclipse di Luna for the first-ever Big Peach Social Ride on PATH400. The six-mile ride showcased the multi-use trail as a unique biking destination, offering a mix of urban and natural experiences along its route.

The ride was led by Big Peach Ride + Run, a locally owned and operated retailer, and safety education provided by Propel ATL, an organization working to transform Atlanta’s streets into safe, inclusive and thriving spaces for people to ride, walk and roll. PATH Foundation’s deputy project manager Mary Hayes provided updates on PATH400 construction and future connections.

The ride ended with a celebration at Eclipse di Luna. Thanks to our wonderful volunteers from Hands on Atlanta, Propel ATL and the Atlanta Police Department. Complimentary refreshments provided by Topo Chico and Celsius. Discounted bike rentals provided by Musette ATL.
