Heloisa is a graduate of Architecture and Urban Planning at the State University of Maringá, Brazil. She grew up in a city in development in the Brazilian South Region, where she learned how to read the urban environment and its needs. After being contemplated by a Scholarship sponsored by the Georgia Rotary Student Program, she came to the US and attended Oglethorpe University during Fall 2021 and Spring 2022, where she took management, art history, design, and leadership classes.
Heloisa interned for Livable Buckhead taking part in Environmental, Social, and Governance research during the 2022 summer, and now she intends to apply the awareness that she got in the US in her next works in Brazil. She also aspires to enroll in a master’s degree program to specialize in community development and strategic planning.
