Waze Carpool: Expanding Your Company’s Commuter Benefits

Encouraging your employees to carpool at least one day a week not only saves them time and money, but is also a huge way for your company to make an impact on traffic congestion in our region. As you all know, Novelis has long been an advocate for supporting their employees’ work/life balance and commutes. One of the major ways they’ve shown this support is through fully subsidizing employee transit passes and promoting incentives to encourage the use of all modes. To expand their support for congestion mitigation, air quality, and employee well-being, Novelis is now teaming up with Livable Buckhead to form a carpool program.

The global, Buckhead-based company is implementing a carpool program through our Waze Carpool partnership. After learning about the opportunity,  it was a no-brainer for Novelis to offer this option as another way to get to work. The program comes with many benefits including sustainability reporting, zero cost, and happier employees. Novelis employees will now have a more flexible option to get where they need to go with commute times, personal profiles, and similar routes taken into account.
