More Than Pink Walk
The Komen Atlanta “More Than Pink Walk” (formerly Susan G. Komen “Race for the Cure” 5K and 1 Mile Walk/Run) will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024 in Buckhead, with Lenox Square hosting the event. An anticipated crowd of about 5,000+ walkers will be in attendance.
The event will begin and end at Lenox Square. The walk (2.25 miles) will begin at 8:15am. The route is a loop through the Buckhead district.
- The last walkers will complete the route no later than 10:00am.
- Due to the size of this event, roads along the race route are effectively closed as the walkers proceed along the route, and vehicle traffic is detoured around the route.
- Off-duty Atlanta Police officers will direct traffic at all intersections along the route.
- Off-duty Atlanta Police officers will also be on-site before and after the event to direct traffic into and out of Lenox Square and the surrounding office buildings.
