Michael is the General Manager of The Charles in Buckhead. Prior to his involvement in high-rises and asset management, he was involved in the hospitality field for over 25 years. He was born and raised in Cairo- Egypt and double majored in Economics and Finance at Cairo University. Michael opened the first Four Seasons in the Middle East in 1999 and 2 years later he moved to Seattle to pursue and evolve his career in hospitality that, over the next 18 years, took him to 10 great cities across the nation.
With each move, Michael moved up the ladder professionally and finally found comfort as hotel General Manager for different luxurious full service hotels. Later, he was promoted to Corporate General Manager where he specialized in new acquisitions and hotel take overs. Between hotel openings, Michael was often tasked to train new General Managers and executive teams for struggling hotels on how to strategically improve their hotel benchmarks and results. Michael credits his Six Sigma Black-belt certification as essential in increasing his effectiveness and efficiency management. Michael met his wife Sarah in Philadelphia and when not playing with their infant son Samuel, they enjoy both cooking and hosting friends over the weekend.
