Helen joined Livable Buckhead in January 2024 as the organization’s Sustainability Manager. In this capacity, she leads the implementation of programs that ensure sustainability focused considerations are integrated into community development projects in both commercial and residential sectors. This encompasses a wide range of factors, including energy, water, waste, health and wellness, EV readiness, greenspace, and arts and culture. The collective impact of these initiatives contributes to creating a more resilient and localized experience for the community.
Born and raised in the Metro-Atlanta area, Helen ventured into the city to attend Georgia Tech where she received a degree in Environmental and Energy Policy. She’s stayed ITP ever since and currently lives in Buckhead with her husband. Together they enjoy pursuing the many parks, outdoor festivals, breweries, and concerts that contribute to Atlanta’s vibrant culture.
Prior to joining Livable Buckhead, Helen worked in consulting and business development roles for several energy-oriented companies focusing on biofuels, energy generation, and building decarbonization.
