Parking & Park-and-Ride Options

If you’re commuting from outside the city, take advantage of park-and-ride lots and MARTA parking decks, many of which offer free daily parking:

South of Atlanta: West End, Oakland City, Lakewood/Ft. McPherson, East Point, College Park (daily + overnight), Barge Road, South Fulton, and Riverdale.
Regional Bus Connections: Many park-and-ride lots connect directly to regional transit services like Xpress, CobbLinc, and Gwinnett County Transit.

Regional Bus Services

Several regional bus systems connect commuters across metro Atlanta:

🚌 Xpress (GRTA) – Serving 12 metro counties with 25 routes, Xpress provides a stress-free commute and helps reduce congestion on Georgia’s busiest highways.

🚌 CobbLinc – Offering both local and express routes, CobbLinc connects Cobb County commuters with eight park-and-ride lots, the Marietta Transfer Center, and the Cumberland Boulevard Transfer Center.

🚌 Gwinnett County Transit (GCT) – Providing local service within Gwinnett County and commuter routes to Downtown and Midtown Atlanta, operating Monday through Saturday.
