Kim Adams is an accomplished leader with 20 years of professional experience at global organizations like Equifax, the world’s premier information solutions company, where she serves as Global Employee Experience Leader – Inclusion & Diversity, Employee Engagement, and Onboarding. Kim drives global strategies to ensure the employee experience is differentiated at Equifax and her top priority is to shape a culture that attracts, grows, inspires, and retains high-performing, diverse, and innovative professionals.
Prior to joining Equifax, Kim served as Senior Director, Employee Experience & Culture at AECOM, a global engineering firm, leading performance management, inclusion and diversity, career development, employee engagement, and culture strategies for 30,000 employees. She has held roles including Director, Global Diversity & Inclusion at Cox Automotive as well as leadership positions in Global Human Resources, Diversity Business Marketing, and Global Operational Excellence at The Coca-Cola Company where she blazed trails as the first woman to be certified as an Operational Excellence Master, led national marketing activations for the Olympics and Sprite brand, served on the boards for the African American BRG and the women’s LINC BRG, and represented Coca-Cola on several non-profit boards, including board chair for Hosea Feed the Hungry.
Kim’s other community endeavors include Dekalb Development Authority board of directors, True Colors Theatre board of directors, Georgia Forward, Leadership Buckhead, Outstanding Atlanta, Atlanta Regional Commission Regional Leadership Institute, and LEAD Atlanta. Her volunteerism has garnered accolades as a servant leader including Outstanding Georgia Citizen by Georgia’s Secretary of State and House of Representatives, Georgia Trend magazine 40 Under 40 Best and Brightest, Who’s Who in Black Atlanta Emerging Leader, and YWCA Atlanta Salute to Greatness Woman of Achievement. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
Kim holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Georgia, with honors, an MBA from Georgia State University Robinson College of Business, and a Diversity & Inclusion Professionals Certificate from Cornell University. Kim loves to travel and resides in Atlanta with her husband.
BBA’s “The Second Cup” Series take place on Thursday mornings from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. using the online platform Zoom, and features thought leaders and influencer from all over the country. “The Second Cup” Series will be one of BBAs way of staying connected with our members and helping you stay connected with each other.
BBA Members who Pre-Register by 6 pm on Wednesday will be allowed to introduce themselves and their business to the online audience(max 1 minute). Then we will hear from our featured guest.
