Peachtree Road Farmers Market: Ice Cream Social

| The Peachtree Road Farmers Market presents the Ice Cream Social: The Sweetest Comeback Join us on Saturday, August 9th for all the ice cream you can eat! Talented local chefs will be using farm-fresh ingredients to scoop up some delicious flavors. Tickets are $25 for adults, $10 for kids, kids 4 and under are free! Your ticket includes an all-access pass to each and every flavor and a Kids Area with bounces houses courtesy of The Fun Village and larger than life foam blocks courtesy of Acton Academy Buckhead. The event will take place inside Child Hall at The Cathedral of St. Philip, 2744 Peachtree Road. Customers can choose from Two Tasting Sessions: 11:00a.m. – 12:00p.m or 12:30p.m. – 1:30p.m. Tickets are available at onecau.se/icecream.The proceeds from the Ice Cream Social will support our Rescued Crops to Feed Our Neighbors program. Every week at the end of Market, PRFM buys unsold crops from our farmers to donate to a local food pantry. During the 2024 Season, we spent $33,891.25 and purchased 17,492 pounds of fresh produce to donate. Help us support our neighbors in need! This program provides local, fresh fruits and veggies to supplement the shelf-stable groceries our food insecure neighbors receive from the pantry. It also supports our farmers with additional income and cuts food waste by keeping unsold crops out of the compost bin. Come out and join the Ice Cream Fun while supporting our neighbors in need! |
