Lost Dog Tavern 3182 Roswell Road
Description: The scope of work is to convert the former Lost Dog Tavern into a new restaurant to be known as Southern Craft Tap and Kitchen. The existing deck would be enclosed and a new deck constructed on the rear of the main structure. The main level would be reconfigured for the restaurant, the lower level will be upfitted for the commercial kitchen. The courtyard will be cleaned up and include new toilets and outside serving station.

Additional Recommendations
- The committee recommends the applicant coordinate with Darion Dunn at the Buckhead Community Improvement District to confirm plans for sidewalk improvements along Roswell Road and determine if there are impacts to the parking for the site.
- The committee recommends the applicant coordinate directly with the property owner providing shared parking arrangements to secure a notarized agreement with the owner as well as ensure the designated parking spaces are signed according to the code requirements. The committee recommends the applicant have their architect develop a specific parking analysis that defines the exact parking requirements based upon the zoning (square footage of the development) and alcohol code requirements.
- The committee notes complaints from adjacent property owners regarding noise generated by this development and recommends the applicant make all efforts necessary to comply with the noise ordinance.
- The committee recommends the applicant work directly with the City planning staff to determine the list of variations needed to support the SAP application and submit that prior to returning to the committee for final consideration.
The Development Committee does expect to see this applicant again prior to issuance of an official SAP.
