Livable Buckhead’s Mobility Champion Award Nominees

The Buckhead Business Association’s annual luncheon is right around the corner, and we officially have our four companies in the running for the Mobility Champion award. We recognize these companies based on their demonstrated success in the development and implementation of alternative commute programs. 

Vacation Express was our first quarter spotlight because of its 19.8% clean commute percentage. Their programs are fully supported by leadership and include a company-wide telework policy, covered cost of transit passes, and continual promotion of regional incentives.

We chose QGenda as our Q2 spotlight based on the company’s major growth in transit ridership since their relocation to Buckhead. Proximity to the Buckhead MARTA station is a plus, but the company’s commuter benefit policy gives employees a choice to choose which commute is best for them.

Our Q3 spotlight was BrightWave – a company that chooses sustainable transportation options as an important piece of their culture. Not only does BrightWave continue to grow their transit ridership each month, they also allow all employees to work from home every other Friday (and avoid the traffic completely!).
