Triple Bottom Line Spotlight: Strategic Materials

We’d like to recognize Strategic Materials – one of the most comprehensive glass recyclers in the world with a location right here in Georgia. They’re helping the Buckhead community by offering to place their own glass collection containers throughout the area – free of charge – so that Buckhead residents and businesses will have a place to bring their glass with the confidence of knowing that it will 100% be recycled and repurposed.

When you place glass in the garbage, it ends up in a landfill and contributes to overall waste. Recycling removes glass waste completely and allows it to be turned into useful products. This saves manufacturers money and reduces the amount of trash going to the landfills.

Additionally, glass can be endlessly recycled with no loss of quality. It never wears out as a raw material, and so it can be recycled forever over and over and over again.
