Mile Long Museum

World class…many communities like to claim they have achieved this standard, yet what does it take to really earn it?  When you think of world class cities, what comes to mind for you?  Great architecture… fantastic parks… a vibrant economy… a diversity of opportunity…and, surely, great art.

Atlanta, boasting the world’s busiest international airport serves as one of the front doors for America and creates the first impression for international travelers.  To make a great first impression, we must be world class in every way.

Buckhead, arguably the premiere district in the City of Atlanta, is truly world class in so many ways, yet not on the map when it comes to art.  Situated adjacent to Midtown, the home of Atlanta’s institutional   and performing arts venues, Buckhead has little to offer the art aficionado or the even the amateur art connoisseur in-the-making.

But that is about to change. By leveraging the efforts of the arts, business and residential communities the Mile Long Museum will change the cultural landscape of art in Atlanta.  No longer will Buckhead be in the shadows, instead it will be home to a one of a kind mile long museum of monumental outdoor sculpture, half of which changes each year to create an entirely new experience – the likes of which has never been seen before.

We invite you to experience the Mile Long Museum vision and let your imagination run wild.
