Drive the Future Atlanta
National Drive Electric Week 2019: The Largest Electric Vehicle Event in the Southeast
New technology always seems weird at first. Take electric cars. They may seem a little different. But with faster recharging times, longer vehicle ranges, and lots of models to choose from, they’re just like driving a typical gas-powered car. Lower costs, a variety of models, and longer vehicle ranges make Electric Vehicles (EVs) fit just about any lifestyle. Whether you need space for your twins’ car seats or plan to drive cross country to visit grandma in the summer, there’s an electric car for you.
Owning a car—any car—is about knowing that it can get you where you need to go. Most electric vehicles can drive over 100 miles on a single charge—with many exceeding 200 to 300 miles. Since the average person drives only 37 miles per day, the range of most EVs works just fine. So if you think EVs can’t stand up to your work commute or getting Jane to soccer, ballet, and axe-throwing practice, think again. When you think of electric vehicles, you may think of tiny, glorified golf carts. But today, most EVs look just like normal cars. With just about 20 models on the market, SUVs, sedans, hatchbacks, and luxury vehicles, it’s easy to find one that’s right for you.
But don’t take it from us. Find out firsthand.
If you’re interested in learning more about Electric Vehicles and their benefits, come out and meet and greet with industry experts and Metro Atlanta’s Electric Vehicle owners who will be displaying their vehicles and answering any questions you may have about Electric Vehicles. The mission of this free event is to engage and educate area residents on the benefits of Electric Vehicles.
