SAP#:  Informational only while rezoning is underway to aggregate FAR across the multiple underlying parcels and eliminate existing conditions. Formal SAP will be submitted once zoning is completed.

Description:   The proposed development is 12 stories in height including approximately 275 residential units and 15K sf of ground floor retail.  The committee members commented on the importance of this development as it is the first to move forward in what is the last remaining area of the historic Buckhead village.  The committee recommended the applicant make efforts to break up the massing of the building with a goal of emphasizing the pedestrian scale and retaining some of the “charm” of the area.  Committee members also recommended the applicant work with other developers with active projects, most notably Edens, to provide some continuity and cohesiveness for the area.

Additional Recommendations

The Development Committee does expect to see this applicant again upon the submittal of the formal SAP.
