Variation Requested:

Section 16-18L.004.3 Prohibited Variances:  The applicant requests the ability to exceed the height threshold established in the code.

            Recommendation: The DRC does not have the ability to approve this development as it exceeds the maximum height threshold.  The applicant noted a text amendment to the code would be necessary to move this project forward.  The committee recommends this project not be considered for such an amendment as it would not have support from the local councilperson or the surrounding residential community.

The Development Committee does not expect to see this applicant again unless significant changes are made to the proposed plans that necessitate additional variations or the City staff requests additional input from the DRC.
