Piedmont Center Pushes Sustainable Commuting Options

 In Employer, Mobility

Piedmont Center is about to embark on an exciting journey towards sustainable commuting, thanks to the dedicated efforts of Cushman & Wakefield, a true advocate for Livable Buckhead. During onsite events, Piedmont Center tenants have expressed to our team interest in our new ‘Pool Perks’ program. Livable Buckhead has also worked with Emily Baker, Tenant Engagement Manager, to promote and distribute a tenant-wide carpool interest survey.

From those results, we found several employers who want to distribute and educate information to their employees on the benefits of carpooling and incentives to make the switch from driving alone. The vision is not only to create formal carpool programs with tenants for their employees, but to also minimize our carbon footprint by promoting eco-friendly commuting alternatives. Livable Buckhead was also onsite at Piedmont Center for a Meet Your Match event to allow employees to learn more about carpooling with a colleague to work.

Cushman & Wakefield has been actively engaging with employers and employees at Piedmont Center, spreading awareness about the benefits of these programs. Through persistent efforts, they have fostered a sense of community and collaboration among the occupants of Piedmont Center, inspiring them to embrace alternative commuting solutions.

Livable Buckhead’s onsite presence at tenant wide events has been instrumental in laying the foundation for a thriving carpooling program that promises to make a significant impact on the environment while enhancing the overall commuting experience for everyone at Piedmont Center. This type of promotion and engagement with alternative commuting is a shining example of how property management efforts can lead to meaningful change within our communities.
