“Sleigh-in” Movie: An American Tail

Presented as part of Miracle on Peachtree and located at 309 Buckhead Avenue NE, the “sleigh-in” movie series invites people of all ages to enjoy holiday classics outdoors this holiday season. Grab a meal from neighboring restaurants Fado, Taverna or Biltong Bar, then take in a screening of one (or more) of these holiday classics. Spots are limited, so advance ticket purchases are encouraged. Tickets range from $25 to $40 for vehicles ($5 discount for Livable Buckhead members and electric vehicles), and there will be front row seats reserved for those who bike or walk ($10 per person).
An American Tail is a 1986 animated musical adventure comedy-drama film directed by Don Bluth, written by Judy Freudberg and Tony Geiss, and produced by Sullivan Bluth Inc. and Amblin Entertainment. The film features the voices of Phillip Glasser, John Finnegan, Amy Green, Nehemiah Persoff, Dom DeLuise, and Christopher Plummer. It tells the story of Fievel Mousekewitz and his family as they emigrate from Shostka to the United States for freedom. However, he gets lost and must find a way to reunite with them.
