Project Scope: The applicant is proposing to do a tenant fit out of empty space in the Prominence Building at the corner of Lenox and Piedmont Roads. The restaurant will make improvements to the interior and exterior of the space including new windows, a five-foot awning that extends above the supplemental zone and outdoor dining for up to 20 people with movable 3’ planters in that zone. Applicant: Karen Blevins and Matthew Foley
Variation Requested: None
Additional Recommendations: The applicant did not have completed renderings or fully detailed drawings that included the outdoor dining space and was requested by the DRC to resubmit them electronically following the meeting. These modifications were submitted by 12/9/2024 and subsequently reviewed by SPI-12 DRC members. The DRC finds the resubmitted application satisfactory and recommends approval.
The Development Committee does NOT expect to see this applicant again provided no significant changes need to be made to the proposed plans that necessitate additional variations, and the City staff and/or Neighborhood Association requests additional input from the DRC
