Walk, Drive, Marta: New Options
Walk, Drive, MARTA…What do you do?
Late again! It took you over an hour to get into work from Marietta. Then you had to find parking which took another 10 minutes. Now you have to stay longer at work to make up for being late which means you’ll be sitting in traffic till 7 pm again. This long commute is getting old. What do you do?
Walk: 14 miles.
Drive: You could go to bed earlier and then drive into work to get there at 6 am.
Marta: If only there was a more reasonable bus route to take you to Buckhead. The last time you tried the bus, the ride was just as long as driving in traffic.

More Marta is here.
Now that Marta and Xpress have joined together, they have been able to expand the service routes for commuters. Route 482 now services Marietta and drops off commuters directly in the Buckhead area. This route stops on the Yellow Line at the Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, and the Medical Center Marta Stations. With this new route, it makes commuting to Buckhead by transit a more viable option than before.
