Yasamin is Livable Buckhead’s Community Planning Manager. She is responsible for developing and implementing various transportation, land use, and arts and culture projects, as well as recommending improvements to support the district’s goals for enhanced walkability, use of non-vehicular travel, and sense-of-place. Yasamin is passionate about creating livable, equitable, and sustainable communities in the South. Prior to joining Livable Buckhead, Yasamin worked for Atlanta City Council.
Yasamin is a metro-Atlanta native and Buckhead resident. She has a B.S. in Public Policy and a Master of City and Regional Planning, both from the Georgia Institute of Technology. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, running or walking around Buckhead, reading, and playing with her two orange kitties, Naruto and Chowder.
