Join Livable Buckhead for 2020 U.S. Olympic Team Trials Cheer Zone!
BUCKHEAD, let’s get HYPED! On Saturday February 29th, U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials will be held in Atlanta and thanks to our pals at the Atlanta Track Club, Livable Buckhead has been selected to host an Official Cheer Station!
Don’t miss your chance to see Olympic-level competition on the streets of Atlanta as the greatest distance runners in the country vie for spots on the Tokyo Team. Consider this your official invite to get in on the fun! Livable Buckhead will host the designated cheering section for our partners, volunteers, residents and friends to watch the race and we want you in on the excitement.
The race begins at 12:03PM but due to road closures, we ask our group to arrive at 11AM. Livable Buckhead’s cheer section will meet for sign decorating at the Jackson Street Bridge at 11AM. We will provide signs to decorate and we will cheer on our athletes for their loops around Atlanta until 3:00PM.
We can’t wait to see you out at the Livable Buckhead section as we cheer, support, and celebrate a historic week for Atlanta!
