Doing What We Can to Help During Coronavirus
Despite the difficulty of the past few weeks, it’s been encouraging to see so many people finding creative ways to spread joy. Neighborhood “bear hunts,” standing ovations for healthcare workers and social-distancing street dance parties have reminded us that with a little creative energy we can give someone a reason to smile on even the darkest days.
In that spirit, Livable Buckhead wants to do what we can to help our community.
Each week we will highlight a local organization that is working hard to help during this time of crisis. If you make a donation of $25 or more, we will say thank you by giving you a free household membership in Livable Buckhead.
First up, Open Hand!
Open Hand prepares, packs and delivers nearly 5,000 healthy meals each day throughout metro Atlanta for those who might otherwise go without. Right now the need for Open Hand’s services is unprecedented, and the organization is stretching itself to make sure that the most vulnerable are cared for. Your gift will provide much-needed support for Open Hand and its important work.
If you make a donation of $25 or more to Open Hand, we will be honored to add you to our membership list. Receipts should be sent to info@livablebuckhead.org.
Thank you for doing what you can to support our community!
