Description: KEFI Buckhead is the prototype for a new family entertainment venue that will provide family-focused entertainment, children’s play and learning activities. This venue is targeted to young families living in the Buckhead and surrounding areas. It will provide interactive areas focused on music, story-telling and group play combined with a retail-oriented toy outlet, coffee bar, meeting/party spaces, and parent lounges. KEFI will occupy the space previously housing the HH Gregg electronics retailer in the Buckhead Triangle Shopping Center (3637 Peachtree Rd). The applicant is proposing exterior façade improvements and interior renovation to provide programming.

Recommendations:
The committee made the following observations/recommendations:
- The committee is excited to have an additional family entertainment establishment in the community.
- While there are no requirements for parking outlined in the zoning code, the committee expressed concerned about traffic and parking and recommends the applicant consider shared parking opportunities with adjacent properties, accommodations for bus traffic and potential impacts to adjacent neighborhoods.
- The committee recommends the applicant refer to the City for signage requests.
The Development Committee does not expect to see this applicant again unless significant changes are made to the proposed plans that necessitate additional variations or the City staff requests additional input from the DRC.
