Project Description: Renovation of existing restaurant space to include authentic Italian bar restaurant that will offer breakfast, lunch, dinner & weekend food options in an elegant casual setting. The existing canopy structure will be replaced with aluminum posts and lighted tempered glass windows that will provide a four seasons space for customers. The interior of the restaurant will be designed to create an informal lounge space with custom bench seating for customers.

Additional Recommendations
Sec. 16-18I.017(2): Relationship of building to street: Should a variation be needed based on the requirement for the front door to be perpendicular to the street, the committee recommends the City approve the request.
The committee appreciates the applicant’s proposal to enhance street presence and improve direct access to the street for customers.
The Development Committee does not expect to see this applicant again unless significant changes are made to the proposed plans that necessitate additional variations or the City staff requests additional input from the DRC.
