61 Irby (Henri’s Site) – Update #1

Description:   Parking Reductions.  The applicant is requesting a reduction of the required minimum number of parking spaces by 92 spaces taking the total required spaces from 530 down to 438.  This request is due to utility conflicts arising from attempts to go underground with the parking structure which are resulting in the elimination of an entire level (60) spaces and then a portion of another level (58 spaces) as well as modification to the proposed unit mix.

This item was not on the agenda as placement on the agenda was not requested in a timely manner.  There were no materials provided to the committee beforehand.

Although the request was discussed, not enough comprehensive and clear information was presented to the committee in order for a sound recommendation to be voted upon.  The committee requests the applicant return to the DRC and that materials are made available ahead of the meeting scheduled for 7/6/2016.
