Miami Circle Gallery Stroll
March 27, 2022 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
We invite you to the first Miami Circle Gallery Stroll of 2022, on March 27th from 4 to 6pm. For this FREE event, 11 galleries will be opening their doors to showcase their most recent exhibitions including:
- Bill Lowe Gallery – Bill Lowe Gallery presents Poet of a Threatened Eden, a comprehensive survey of works by American multi-disciplinary artist, Frank Hyder. This retrospective focuses on works created from 1986 thru 2018 and features Hyder’s hand-carved, scored, engraved and painted works on wood and other media, ranging in scale from monumental to intimate. The exhibition opens Friday, March 26th, 2022 from 6 – 9 PM and is open to the public.
- September Gray – Group exhibition: Rituals and Remembrance… we will understand it better by and by. Opening on February 18th, this exhibition features artists: Lillian Blades, Kevin Cole, Faith Ringgold and Romare Bearden.
- Marcia Wood Gallery – Group exhibition: Preternatural, featuring works by Mie Yim, David Humphrey, and Jennifer Coates.
- Signature Contemporary Craft Gallery – “Jayne Against the Grain,” Wood sculptor, Jayne Armstrong, works primarily in fresh oak to explore its sculptural and aesthetic possibilities. Preferring irregularity and anomaly, Jayne works dialogically with the wood, anticipating the way in which it will change shape as it dries naturally. Her wood is sourced locally and sustainably; rooted in time and place.
- Anne Irwin Fine Art – “Light Lifting,” featuring Hannah Bureau, Lynn Johnson, and Laura Roebuck is now on display at Anne Irwin Fine Art. Each of the artist’s paintings are full of stunning mark making, light, and movement, making it the perfect show to kick off the Spring season!
After exploring the galleries, join us on PATH400 for an artist guided walking tour of murals by Ashley Bella, Willow Goldstein and Krista Jones aka JONESY. Leave your mark with an interactive paint-by-numbers activation with artist Wallace Kelly. After all that walking, wander over to Eclipse di Luna for Party on the PATH. Let the sangria fuel your dancing to Willie Ziavino and his four-piece band playing a rhythmic and musical fusion of Trova Cubana, Salsa and Caribbean rhythms while enjoying the best tapas in Atlanta.
The Miami Circle Art Stroll and PATH400 artist tour are FREE to all.
