“Sleigh-in” Movie: Elf

Presented as part of Miracle on Peachtree and located at 309 Buckhead Avenue NE, the “sleigh-in” movie series invites people of all ages to enjoy holiday classics outdoors this holiday season. Grab a meal from neighboring restaurants Fado, Taverna or Biltong Bar, then take in a screening of one (or more) of these holiday classics. Spots are limited, so advance ticket purchases are encouraged. Tickets range from $25 to $40 for vehicles ($5 discount for Livable Buckhead members and electric vehicles), and there will be front row seats reserved for those who bike or walk ($10 per person).
Elf is a 2003 American Christmas comedy film directed by Jon Favreau, written by David Berenbaum, and starring Will Ferrell, James Caan, Zooey Deschanel, Mary Steenburgen, Daniel Tay, Bob Newhart and Ed Asner. The film centers on Buddy, a human who was adopted and raised by Santa’s elves. He learns about this and heads to New York City to meet his biological father while also spreading Christmas cheer in a world of cynics in the process.
