New Tran$ave Program Procedures

 In Employer, Mobility

The process for ordering the monthly discounted MARTA passes has been updated and streamlined to make it easier for administrators of the program.

The orders are uploaded directly into MARTA’s system using the new spreadsheet that the administrators received. This eliminates the use of multiple spreadsheets being emailed back and forth which could result in errors.  Once the spreadsheet is received, it is uploaded directly into MARTA’s system after it is checked for errors. If there are any errors, they are communicated back to the administrator for correction. Once the spreadsheet is uploaded and there are no errors, an Upcoming Monthly Benefit Report is run which shows all of the active cards for the next month. This report is emailed to the administrator for verification. The administrator emails back stating that the order is correct or if there are any corrections. The administrator is then invoiced for the number of activation’s based on their order. Please let me know if there is anything else you would like to be improved.

The presentation below provides step by step instructions on how to complete the spreadsheet.

Livable Buckhead’s Tran$ave program continued to grow in 2018 despite a decline in transit ridership in the region. Livable Buckhead partners sold 20,885 passes which equals 1.5 million dollars in sales. The average monthly sales was 1,740 passes which was up 12% from the previous year. 16 new partners joined the program bringing the total number of employer partners in the program to 103.  The result was close to $397,000 in savings to Buckhead commuters.
