Big PATH, Tiny Parks

October 16 – 18

ATTEND VIRTUALLY

Tiny Little Parks Along Buckhead’s PATH400

Can’t attend in-person? No problem. Livable Buckhead has created a virtual experience for all of our attendees to view and participate. The virtual space is an immersive auditory and visual experience that replicates the in-person experience, including the voting aspect of Big PATH, Tiny Parks and the custom soundtracks that local DJ Mike Zarin created for each tiny park.

No app needed. Just use your phone, tablet, or computer to join our virtual event. If using an iPhone, you must use Safari to access our virtual space. Chrome & Safari are recommended on computers. Listen with a pair of headphones or earbuds for the full experience.

Spacial 3D Audio

High Fidelity uses spacial audio which means as you get closer to people and objects, the sound will become louder. As you move away, it will get quieter. Experiment with distance and movement.

Getting Setup in High Fidelity

  • High Fidelity is a 3D audio experience in a 2D environment designed for flat screen devices, like computers and mobile devices.
  • Before you enter the space, you will be asked to select your audio settings. This is how you will hear and be heard. We highly recommend using headphones for the full audio experience.
  • When you enter, you will have the opportunity to customize how you appear to others. You can do this at any time by clicking the hamburger menu in the top left corner of your screen (three horizontal lines) and clicking profile.
  • Here you can change your name and profile picture.
  • You can use this same menu to adjust your audio settings at any time.
  • In bottom left hand corner of your screen, you can mute yourself by clicking the microphone.
  • Next to the microphone is the audio icon. Click it then “How Do I Sound”to adjust your microphone volume.

Moving Around in High Fidelity

  • Computers:
    • Use the arrow keys on your keyboard, or click and drag on the map
    • To rotate, use the left and right arrows on your keyboard
    • To strafe, click and drag left and right
    • To zoom in and out, use the scroll-wheel on your mouse, or the scrolling gesture on your track pad.
  • Mobile Devices:
    • To move, swipe and drag your finger on the map
    • To rotate, use your device’s twist gesture, typically holding two fingers down on the screen and twist
    • To zoom in and out, use the pinch and stretch gesture with your fingers (the way you would zoom on an image on your device)
