Sean Mitchell is Senior Vice President, Employee Benefits at MarshMcLennan Agency, bringing more than 25 years of demonstrated leadership in employee benefits strategy, plan design, and financial management. He holds a B.B.A. in Risk Management & Insurance from the University of Georgia and began his career in employee benefits in 1991. Sean has deep experience managing complex employer sponsored benefit programs in a variety of industries and is recognized for translating clinical and pharmacy trends into actionable cost-containment strategies and disciplined financial analysis. Known for a pragmatic, client-focused approach, Sean partners with employer leaders to align benefits strategy with organizational objectives and to improve employee outcomes while managing total cost.

Outside the office he enjoys traveling with his wife, Gretchen, spending time with their three adult children, swimming with his Labrador retrievers  and supporting nonprofit causes including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and Camp Horizon.
