Join us for a fun evening of basic commands to get your pup learning basic agility.\nAugust 11th: It’s the dog days of summer! And we’ve got a treat for you and your four-legged friends\, after a quick obedience training\, it’s our doggy splash! Doggy pools and prizes will be on site with some cool drinks to beat the heat.\nAugust 25th: We want our pups to live long and healthy lives. A local vet will be on hand to share the do’s and don’ts for our best pals. Join us for a fun evening of basic commands to get your pup learning basic agility.\nAugust 11th: It’s the dog days of summer! DESCRIPTION:For our upcoming Sustainability Committee meeting\, we’ll be hearing from a guest speaker\, Mario Cambardella\, former Urban Agriculture Director for the city of Atlanta\, who will  be speaking to the group on the topic of Urban Agriculture. Urban agriculture is the practice of growing food and gardening in an urban setting. It’s all about preserving green space in cities and providing places for community members to come together. This is a topic that has been requested by some of our committee members and fits right in with Livable Buckhead’s programming. \n\nDoes your company have a Green Team or Sustainability Lead? We invite all sustainability enthusiasts to join us on Wednesday\, June 22nd from 12-1 p.m. \nLivable Buckhead and more than 30 leaders have collaborated to create a sustainability action plan for Buckhead\, developing a hyperlocal course of action to improve sustainability. The Sustainability Committee helps guide Livable Buckhead’s sustainability programs and sets achievable goals for the Buckhead community from our program areas which include: Mobility\, Public Safety\, Greenspace\, Waste\, Energy\, Arts & Culture\, Health & Wellness\, Water\, and Culture of Sustainability. \nThe committee is open to the public to serve on and reports to the Livable Buckhead Board of Directors.
